The ICEJ at work in Israel

The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem was founded in 1980 as an evangelical Christian response to the need to comfort Zion according to the scriptural mandate: "Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord's hand double for all her sins." Isaiah 40:1-2

The ICEJ strives to fulfill this calling in the land through several care and assistance programmes - ICEJ Aid and Aliyah are just two examples. ICEJ also has a number of programmes that are aimed at engaging the Church and various elements within the Church about Israel. Christian Friends of Yad Vashem, a unique partnership at the very heart of the nation of Isarel; Grafted is an arm of ICEJ that works largely with young people and young adults; the Christian Edition of the Jerusalem Post is another powerful example of ICEJ's work. All of these and many others are part of the on going activity and committment of ICEJ to practical service and ministry.

The links below will take you to the Irish programme page, where you will find some local information about this programme, what we are doing in Ireland and then a link to the main ICEJ website where you can get the latest news about what they are doing in Jerusalem.
